Message We just began running an Accusump on our track car and after some tweaks I'm pretty happy with it.

Initially it was plumbed in with the EPC wired to open when the ignition is on. This setup didn't provide satisfactory performance in our use case, so we ended up running it without any valve. In this config, and after some work to bleed the air from the system, it did pretty much what we expected: comparing data with and without the Accusump, we have steady pressure in spots where it perviously dipped due to starvation. In the worst case, where we used to have 0 pressure for an extended period, we have low, but non-zero pressure.

With Accusump in green, no Accusump in red (unfiltered signal, but starvation is clear):

Ultimately, I'll go with a manual ball valve so it doesn't discharge the entire accumulator capacity back into the engine sump at shutdown. If I could find a full-flow electric valve, that would also be an option.

Overall, it improved known starvation issues, which alone made it worthwhile in our case. I can't comment on its ability to pre-oil or the value of that, but personally I wouldn't add the complexity for pre-oiling alone.

To be clear, it wasn't obvious to me why the EPC valve performed poorly and we didn't spend much time trying to diagnose it, so maybe it will be fine for your needs. And of course, these are just my observations for my specific setup; YMMV.
